Monday 27th March, 08:00 – 11:00: Sierra Library System Unavailable

Owing to an essential upgrade the Sierra library system will be unavailable from 08.00 hrs to 11.00 hrs on Monday 27th March. An essential issue and returns service will be operating from the libraries at both campuses.

Library catalogue “My Account” unavailable

The My Account functionality in the library catalogue is currently unavailable. You will not be able to renew books by this method or view library loans or fines. If you have books which need renewing, please email the details to libraryhelp@northampton.ac.uk.

Our suppliers are working to resolve this issue and we apologise for any inconvenience.

Library catalogue – maintenance Friday 12th December

Our library catalogue supplier will be undertaking scheduled maintenance to our system from 6.00 p.m. Friday 12th December – 6.00 a.m. Saturday 13th December. During this time, you may not be able to create new resource lists or place new star ratings.

You will still be able to search the catalogue, place reservations and use the My Account area, including renewing existing loans.

Library catalogue maintenance – 21st November

Our library catalogue supplier will be carrying out maintenance to their system on Friday 21st November between 8p.m. and midnight and consequently there will be intermittent disruption to the catalogue service during these hours.

NILE My Library Account Box: Unavailable

The My Library Account Box in NILE is currently unavailable.

We apologise for any inconvenience and are working to resolve this issue.

This issue has now been resolved.

Wednesday 18th December: Library System Upgrade 07.00 hrs – 10.00 hrs

A basic issue and discharge service will be running from the Service Desks at both sites while the upgrade is in progress.

Full service will be available  at 10.00 hrs.

Due to the financial year rollover a basic issue and discharge service will be operating from the service points on  both library sites from 08:00 to 11:00 hrs. Self service machines will be unavailable.

Prism performance issues

The suppliers of our library catalogue are currently experiencing performance issues and this is resulting in catalogue searches running slowly.
