Emerald Insight will be undergoing routine maintenance on Monday 2nd March starting at 07:00 GMT.

During this maintenance window, some functionality on Emerald Insight will be unavailable for up to 12 hours. The functionality affected, includes:

• Search
• Alert subscriptions
• Adding publications as favourites and adding articles to Marked Lists
• Any changes to ‘My Account’
• Registration
• Mobile pairing

A notification message will be visible on the website, however please be aware that the functionality will appear to be working until you click to action one of the above functions. At this point you will receive an on-site notification that the functionality is temporarily unavailable.

Emerald Insight will be undergoing routine maintenance on Friday 20th February between 23:00 and 03:00 GMT. During this maintenance window, the website will be unavailable for up to 1 hour and if you access it during this time you will receive a ‘connection timeout’ or similar message within your browser. This may also affect some functionality on emeraldgrouppublishing.com.

Problem linking to journal articles via NELSON and Find My Reference

Linking to journal articles via NELSON and Find My Reference is currently unavailable. Our suppliers are aware of the problem and are working on a solution.

In the meantime, direct access to databases via the library databases A-Z list is unaffected.

This issue has now been resolved.

2nd February: University Wide Network Issues

The University is currently experiencing network issues, as a result single sign-on to the databases will be intermittent.  I.T. Services are working to restore service.
